Passengers travelling on Alaska Airlines itineraries from Kansai International Airport must follow the baggage policy of the operating carrier when flights are conducted by partner airlines.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers may bring one cabin bag with maximum dimensions of 22 x 14 x 9 inches (including wheels and handles), along with one personal item such as a handbag, briefcase, or laptop bag.

Cabin baggage must be stored in overhead compartments or under the seat. All items must comply with airport security screening requirements.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage rules depend on ticket type, frequent flyer status, and operating airline. When Alaska Airlines policy applies:

• First checked bag: subject to applicable fee
• Second checked bag: higher fee applies
• Additional bags: charged per piece

Weight limits for standard checked baggage are typically up to 23 kg per bag. Oversize and overweight charges apply when limits are exceeded.

Each item must meet airline size restrictions, usually not exceeding 158 cm in total dimensions.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage can be purchased during online check-in or at the airport counter. Charges vary based on route and number of bags.

Special baggage, including sports equipment or musical instruments, may require advance arrangements and additional fees.
