Passengers traveling with China Airlines are welcome to bring the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to bring one piece of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The dimensions must not exceed 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm. In addition, passengers may carry one small personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack, that fits under the seat in front.

Business and Premium Business Class passengers may bring two carry-on items, each not exceeding the above limits.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Baggage allowances vary by route and class of service:

Economy Class: 1 or 2 pieces (each up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) depending on fare type and destination.

Premium Economy: 2 pieces (each up to 28 kg / 62 lbs).

Business Class: 2 pieces (each up to 32 kg / 70 lbs).

The total linear dimension (length + width + height) per checked piece must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches).

Extra Baggage

If your baggage exceeds the free allowance in weight, size, or number of pieces, excess baggage fees apply based on your travel route. You can purchase additional allowance in advance through the China Airlines website for discounted rates.
