Passengers traveling with EVA Air are welcome to bring the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger may bring one cabin bag onboard with a maximum weight of 7 kg (15 lbs). The bag must not exceed 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm.

Passengers traveling with infants may also bring one personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack, that fits under the seat in front of them.

Business Class passengers are generally allowed two carry-on items within the same weight and dimension limits.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowances depend on the fare class, route, and membership status:

• Economy Class: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

• Premium Economy Class: 2 pieces, each up to 28 kg (62 lbs).

• Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs).

Each checked bag must have a total linear dimension (length + width + height) not exceeding 158 cm (62 inches).

To avoid extra charges for excess baggage, please make sure to fit your allowed weight into your allowed number of pieces. Any extra weight or number of pieces will be subject to additional fees, provided there is space in the hold for your excess baggage.

Extra Baggage

Excess baggage fees apply if your luggage exceeds the permitted weight, size, or number of pieces. Additional allowance can be purchased in advance through EVA Air’s website or customer service, often at a discounted rate. Charges vary by destination and route.
