EVA Air provides flexible cancellation and refund options, ensuring convenience for its passengers. Below are the key points of their policy:

Cancellation Policy

24-Hour Cancellation Rule

Passengers can cancel their ticket for a full refund within 24 hours of booking, provided the flight departure is at least 24 hours away. This applies to tickets purchased directly through EVA Air’s website or call center.

Non-Refundable Tickets

If the ticket is canceled after the 24-hour window, non-refundable fares may be eligible for a partial refund or travel credit, depending on fare conditions. Discounted or promotional fares may not be refundable once issued.

Refundable Tickets

Refundable tickets can be canceled at any time before departure for a full refund to the original payment method, minus any applicable administrative fees.

How to Cancel

Tickets can be canceled through the “Manage Booking” section on EVA Air’s website, mobile app, or by contacting EVA Air customer service. Travel agents must process cancellations through the issuing agency.

Refund Policy

Eligible Refunds

Refunds for eligible tickets are processed to the original form of payment. Refunds for credit card payments typically take 7–10 business days after approval. Tickets purchased via travel agencies must be refunded through the issuing agency.

Baggage Fees

If the airline cancels the flight: Prepaid baggage fees will be refunded automatically or can be applied to a rebooked flight.

If you cancel the flight yourself: Prepaid baggage fees are usually non-refundable, unless the fare type explicitly allows it.
