Passengers traveling with Korean Air are welcome to bring the following:

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to bring one cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg on board Korean Air flights. The carry-on baggage must not exceed 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm in size. Passengers traveling with infants may also bring one personal item (such as a diaper bag or small handbag) that fits underneath the seat in front of them.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Korean Air’s checked baggage policy varies by travel class and route.

For most international flights, Economy Class passengers may check in one or two pieces up to 23 kg each, while Prestige Class passengers can check two pieces up to 32 kg each. First Class travelers are allowed three pieces, each up to 32 kg.

The total dimensions of each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (length + width + height). Passengers exceeding these limits will be charged additional fees. Korean Air also allows advance purchase of extra baggage allowance online for discounted rates before departure.

Extra Baggage

If you exceed your baggage allowance in weight or number of pieces, extra baggage charges will apply. Passengers can purchase additional baggage allowance in advance at discounted rates. The cost varies depending on the destination and route.
