Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Cancellation Rule
Passengers may cancel their Korean Air ticket within 24 hours of booking for a
full refund, provided the departure date is at least 24 hours away.
Non-Refundable Tickets
If canceled after the 24-hour grace period, the ticket value may be refunded as
a travel credit, minus any applicable cancellation fees. Promotional or
discounted fares are generally non-refundable after this period.
Refundable Tickets
Refundable tickets can be canceled at any time before the scheduled departure
for a full refund to the original form of payment, subject to fare conditions.
How to Cancel
Go to the Manage Booking section on the Korean Air website or mobile app.
Enter your booking reference and passenger details to cancel or modify your
reservation.

Refunds for eligible tickets are processed back to the original payment method.
Credit card refunds usually take 7 - 10 business days to reflect, depending on
your bank’s processing time.
Baggage Fees
If the flight is canceled by Korean Air: Prepaid baggage fees will be
automatically refunded or credited toward your rebooked flight.
If you cancel your flight: Prepaid baggage fees are generally non-refundable
unless your fare type allows it or the airline’s policy states otherwise.
