Passengers traveling with Scoot are welcome to bring:

Carry-on Baggage

When flying with Scoot, you enjoy a generous carry-on baggage allowance of up to 10kg for Economy class, which is 3kg more than most low-cost airlines! This extra weight gives you more room to pack essentials and keeps your travels hassle-free.

Baggage Details

• Economy Class: 2 pieces of cabin baggage, up to 10kg total.

• ScootPlus: 2 pieces of cabin baggage, up to 15kg total.

Each piece of baggage must adhere to the following dimensions:

• Main carry-on bag: 54cm x 38cm x 23cm (total dimensions not exceeding 115cm).

• Personal item: 40cm x 30cm x 10cm (fits under the seat in front).

Note: Infants do not have a cabin baggage allowance.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Scoot offers flexible checked baggage options, allowing you to check in up to 15 pieces of luggage. Each piece must not exceed 158cm in total linear dimensions (length + width + height).

Checked Baggage Weight Allowance

Weight Limits

• Maximum weight per bag: 32kg (due to safety regulations).

• If a bag exceeds 32kg, you’ll need to repack it.

Non-Standard Baggage

If you need to carry large or bulky items like sports equipment or musical instruments, these can be checked in or carried on. However, size and weight restrictions apply. For specific guidelines, check Scoot’s website. For transporting oversized items, it’s recommended to contact Scoot’s cargo agents.

Extra Baggage

If you have more baggage weight and/or pieces than your allowance, additional charges will be applied. You can purchase your extra bag allowance in advance enjoy a great discount. Charges depend on your destination.
