Scoot’s Japan routes use Boeing 787 Dreamliners (and starting in late 2025, some Airbus A320 family aircraft for shorter routes).

Here are the seat configurations:

Boeing 787‑8 (used on longer Japan routes)

ScootPlus (“Business”): 21 seats in a 2‑3‑2 configuration.

Premium Economy: ~33 seats in a 3‑3‑3 layout.

Economy Class: ~281 seats, 3‑3‑3 layout.

Boeing 787‑9

ScootPlus (“Business”): 35 seats, recliner style.

Economy: 295 standard seats, 3‑3‑3 layout.

ScootinSilence / Quiet Zone: Rows with extra-legroom economy seats (Stretch / Super) in rows 6‑10.
