Lost and Found

If you've lost an item during your British Airways flight or at the airport, British Airways is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.

Items Lost in the Airport

For items misplaced in public areas of Terminal 1, such as check‑in halls, security zones, restaurants or shops, please contact the airport’s Lost Property desk. You can reach them via the main Airport Information line at +81 72  455 2500.

Visit the Information Counter located in Terminal 1 (1F, 2F or 4F) if you’re on‑site.

Items Lost Onboard or at the Gate

If your item was left on board a British Airways aircraft or near the boarding gate:

Use the “Lost Property” form on the British Airways website under Lost & Damaged Baggage / Lost Property. Include your flight number, date of travel, seat number, and a clear description of the item.

As noted by British Airways: “In most airports, items found on board are handed to the lost‑property team at the arrival airport. If your property is not handed in at the airport we are unable to help further.”

Additional Important Info

Items lost more than 3 months ago may not be searchable.

British Airways publishes a global list of lost property contacts per airport. For KIX the airport contact applies; BA may not have a direct desk listed in the public PDF for this airport.

After submitting a claim, allow time for processing. Some travelers report delays of several days before items appear in the system.

For further information on lost and found inquiries, please contact British Airways Japan Service Hotline at Tel: +81 3 3298 5238.
