If you've lost an item during your Etihad Airways flight or at the airport, Etihad Airways is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.
Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Items left onboard Etihad Airways aircraft are collected by cabin crew and
ground staff after arrival. These items are recorded and transferred to the
airline’s lost property service.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced within Kansai International Airport terminals are handled by the
airport’s lost and found office. This includes items left at security
checkpoints, boarding gates, and public areas.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers must report delayed or missing baggage immediately at the
baggage service counter. A
Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracking and follow-up.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a description
of the item when submitting a report. Reports may be filed at the
airport or through airline
customer service channels.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited period. Collection requires valid
identification and proof of ownership. Delivery services may be arranged where
available.
Passenger Advice
Passengers must keep valuable items in cabin baggage. The airline does not
accept liability for unsecured personal belongings left onboard or within
airport premises.
