Cancellation Policy
24-hour Cancellation
Bookings may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase when fare conditions allow.
Non-refundable Tickets
Certain fare types restrict refunds after cancellation. Ticket value may be
retained as credit or forfeited according to fare conditions.
Refundable Tickets
Eligible fare categories allow cancellations with refunds issued after
applicable fees and fare differences.
How to Cancel
Bookings may be modified or canceled through Firefly service channels or
Malaysia Airlines platforms depending on ticket issuance. Reservation references
are required for processing.
Refund Policy
Eligible Refunds
Refunds apply to qualifying tickets, airline-initiated schedule changes, or
disruptions. Unused taxes may be refunded where applicable.
Processing Time
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing timelines depend
on payment providers and banking systems.
Baggage Fee Refunds
Charges for excess baggage are refunded only when the airline cancels the
flight. Voluntary cancellations are not eligible.
