If you have misplaced an item during your Lufthansa flight or within the airport, assistance is available. The Lost and Found service enables passengers to report missing belongings and supports their recovery.

Follow the steps below to report and retrieve your lost items.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Items left onboard Lufthansa flights arriving at Kansai International Airport are collected by cabin crew after landing and transferred to ground handling staff for documentation and safekeeping.

Items Lost at the Airport

Items misplaced within Kansai International Airport terminals, including check-in areas, security checkpoints, and boarding gates, are handled by the airport’s Lost and Found office.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers arriving at Kansai International Airport must report delayed or missing checked baggage immediately at the baggage service counter. A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracking.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers must provide flight details, baggage tag numbers, and a detailed description of the missing item when reporting at Kansai International Airport or through Lufthansa customer service channels.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items at Kansai International Airport are stored for a limited period. Passengers must present valid identification and proof of ownership to collect their belongings. Delivery arrangements may be available depending on location.
