Passengers flying with Qatar Airways may complete their check-in easily through the following available options.

KIX Self Service Check-in Kiosk

Online / Mobile Check-in

Online check-in is available for Qatar Airways flights departing from KIX. Online check-in feature opens 48 hours before departure and closes 90 minutes prior to take-off.

Passengers can select seats, add passport details, and obtain a mobile or printable boarding pass.

Some passengers may still need to check in at the airport, such as those requiring special assistance, unaccompanied minors, or passengers with complex bookings.
 

Self Service Check-in Machine (Kiosk)

Self-service kiosks for Qatar Airways are available in the departure area of Terminal 1 at Kansai International Airport (KIX).

Ideal for passengers who have not checked in online and want to avoid counter queues.

Kiosk check-in generally opens around 3 hours before departure.

Boarding passes and baggage tags can be printed at the kiosk, after which passengers proceed to the baggage drop counter.

Some passenger types, such as those with special service needs, may still be directed to the staffed counters.
 

Airport Counter Check-in

Qatar Airways check-in counters are located in Terminal 1, KIX. The airport check-in counters open 3 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Check-in counters closes 60 minutes before departure, and boarding gates normally close 30 to 40 minutes prior, depending on operational requirements.

Passengers should complete check-in as early as possible to allow time for baggage drop, security, and immigration.
