Passengers traveling with Singapore Airlines are welcome to bring the following:

Baggage Allowance

Carry-on Baggage

Singapore Airlines allows each passenger to bring one piece of cabin baggage weighing up to 7 kg. The maximum dimensions are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. Suites, First Class, and Business Class passengers are entitled to two pieces of cabin baggage, each not exceeding 7 kg.

In addition, passengers may carry one small personal item such as a handbag, laptop bag, or camera bag, provided it fits under the seat in front of them. Infants are permitted one carry-on bag containing essentials for the flight, as long as it complies with the size and weight limits.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage allowances vary depending on the route and travel class. For most routes under the weight concept, Economy Class passengers may check in 25–35 kg, Premium Economy 35 kg, Business Class 40 kg, First Class and Suites 50 kg, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members receive an additional 20 kg.

On routes applying the piece concept (such as flights to/from the U.S.), Economy and Premium Economy passengers can check in two pieces up to 23 kg each, while Business, First, and Suites passengers may check in two pieces up to 32 kg each.

Extra Baggage

Excess baggage charges apply when your checked bags exceed the permitted weight or number of pieces. Rates vary by route and are generally charged per kilogram or per additional piece.

Passengers can pre-purchase extra baggage allowance online at discounted rates before departure. Charges depend on your destination.
