If you've lost an item during your Korean Air flight or at the airport, Korean Air is here to help. The Lost and Found service ensures you can easily report and recover your lost belongings.
Follow these steps to report and recover your lost items.
Items Lost Within Terminal 1 Public Areas
For items lost in public areas of Terminal 1, including security
checkpoints, restrooms, restaurants, or shops, please contact the
Kansai Airport
Information Counter on the 1st floor of Terminal 1. They can be reached by phone
at +81 72 455 2500 for assistance or directions.
Items Lost Onboard Korean Air Flights
If your item was left onboard a Korean Air aircraft or near the boarding gate,
contact Korean Air Ground Handling Services at
Kansai International Airport (KIX).
Staff at the check-in counters in Terminal 1, International Departure Area can
help trace your belongings through the airline’s internal system.
You may also contact Korean Air Customer Service through their official website
or the Korean Air Japan office for follow-up inquiries regarding items found
after flight arrival.
Additional Information
When reporting a lost item, provide details such as your flight number, date of
travel, seat number, and a description of the item. Valuable items, including
passports or identification documents, are usually handed over to the Airport
Police Office for safekeeping.
Found items are generally retained for a limited time, so passengers are
encouraged to report losses promptly. For in-person assistance, visit the
Terminal 1 Information Counter during operating hours.
