It is one of Japan’s busiest regional airports and serves as a vital hub connecting the Okinawa Islands with mainland Japan and neighboring Asian countries.

The airport has two terminals - the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal, connected by a short walkway. Facilities include restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops offering Okinawan specialties like beni-imo sweets and awamori liquor, ATMs, currency exchange, lounges, and free Wi-Fi. A monorail station (Yui Rail) links the airport directly to central Naha. There’s also an Observation Deck, car rental counters, and tourist information centers.

Airlines and Destinations

Major domestic carriers such as All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan Airlines (JAL), Jetstar Japan, and Peach Aviation operate frequent flights to Tokyo (Haneda, Narita), Osaka ((Itami, Kansai), Nagoya (Chubu), Fukuoka, and other Japanese cities. International flights connect to Seoul, Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, among others.
