Nagasaki Airport (IATA: NGS, ICAO: RJFU) is located on Omura Bay, about 18 km north of Nagasaki City, in Nagasaki Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. Opened in 1975, it was the world’s first offshore airport built on an artificial island, serving as the main air gateway to the western Kyushu region.

Nagasaki Airport is connected to Nagasaki city via airport limousine buses (about 45 minutes). Taxis and car rentals are available, while ferry services across Omura Bay connect nearby destinations. The airport’s strategic location makes it ideal for visiting Nagasaki’s historical sites and Goto Islands.
