Nagasaki Airport (IATA: NGS, ICAO: RJFU) is located on Omura Bay, about 18
km north of Nagasaki City, in Nagasaki Prefecture, Kyushu, Japan. Opened in
1975, it was the world’s first offshore airport built on an artificial
island, serving as the main air gateway to the western Kyushu region.
